Canadian Bacon is the second segment of the 8th episode of Nightmare Ned, and the 15th aired segment overall. In this episode, after Ned's pet pig idea is shot down, Ned dreams himself to be a part of an entire pig family.

Summary[]
After having brought a piglet home, Ned attempts to convince his parents if he can have a pet. While they discuss which animal Ned should have, his parents tell him a pig is not meant for a pet but for a meal. So, Ned has a nightmare (which begins as a NICE DREAM) that he and his pet run away from home to live on a farm, where it's shown the pig has a family. But while Ned enjoys living with a family of pigs, he later discovers that they are fattening him up to eat him for Christmas. When we wakes up the next morning, his parents decided to keep the pig as Ned's new pet.

- This is the first time a nightmare had a sequence for almost a year.
- Granted that while the nightmare lasted for a year, it was only a few hours by the time Ned woke up.
- As of this episode, the Needlemeyers have a pig.
